3 BR 2.5 BA Portland OR home with Tri-Ex W-51 tower - For Sale

The tower does not have a motorized winch - it is raised and lowered with a hand-cranked winch. There is no "raising fixture" with this tower, which is the heavy ground-mounted bracket/hinge assembly that allows a tower to be raised from or lowered to a horizontal position for installation or antenna servicing. There are two antennas on the tower, both clamped to a short piece of mast coming out of the rotator. One is a Hy-Gain model TH-3 series, 3-element triband yagi for the 20/15/10-Meter bands. Above the triband yagi is a 5-element vertically-polarized 2-Meter yagi, it also appears to be made by Hy-Gain. The rotor is a Ham-M/Ham II series. Other antennas are what appear to be a multiband inverted vee and another wire antenna. (Antenna details are from my dad's ham buddy - my dad passed away).

Performance wise I could not pick one over the other. So I picked the one with the best front panels to sell. This unit had the usual amount of ceramic disk caps that needed to be replaced and resistors that had drifted. The high voltage caps in the PA were replaced because they are a common failure on all of the SR series. It got new final tubes and a new driver as well as a few other tubes. Once everything was working properly and close to spec alignment was started. The VFO has been mechanically and electrically aligned. The RF section was aligned according to the manual. The IF’s and filter terminations were aligned using a sweep generator and spectrum analyzer. All harmonics and birdies are well within spec. The TX second and third harmonics are 10db better than spec and no spurious frequencies were detected. email cateswa@msn.com

Kenwood TS-520 and TS-200 Tuner Combo - For Sale

I'm all QRP from an apartment QTH and don't use the QRO station any longer. The Kenwood setup is mint. A 100 watt output TS-520 (no filters unfortunately) and a TS-200 tuner that will match any reasonable antenna. I want to sell both Kenwoods as a package and would like to begin as a possible pick-up transaction rather than have you pay shipping for these heavy items. Professional packing is expensive. I live 35+/- miles NW of Albany, NY. I would be willing to drive a half-hour or so on the NYS Thruway and get off at an exit to do the transaction. If you are around these parts this summer, think about it.
