Earlier this year I purchased an Icom F-5023 VHF rig which is a 128 Channel 25watt transceiver covering 136MHz to 174 MHz. It came pre-programmed with all of our local 2M repeaters and simplex frequencies as well as the local Civil Defence repeaters and simplex frequencies and had a good workout during a car rally (Rally of Otago) in early April.
