My Ham Radio Interests
I am in the middle of up grading, but I do like to work 10 meter DX. I also like to dabble in 2/70cm ssb and Sats. I hope to be on the low bands soon.

Yaesu FT-950, Kenwood TM-V71A, Jetstream JT220M, Kenwood TH-F6A, Yaesu VX6R. Diamond GZV4000 power supply. Yaesu SP-8 speaker and a MFJ-969 tuner. Antennas are Comet CHA250 80-6 meter vertical, Comet GP-9 2/440 vertcal and a Comet CX333 2/220/440 vertical. I am also using a W5GI Mystery Antenna (dipole) for 80-2 meters up 60 feet. A couple of Uniden HT scanners and a Realistic Pro 2004 scanner. I also use a PowerPack 1500 to run the station when the electric goes out.

Other Interests

ARRL, and GARA..

Live from N/E Ohio (PAINESVILLE TWP. LAKE COUNTY.) I have not been on this site in a long time. I have probably missed a lot. I'll have to browse around awhile. I hope everyone is doing well. I have posted a couple more pictures of my current shack and my children. Since I last was here my daughter Christyna Anjelisa was born. She is 19 months old now.

I am now getting into CW soon. I will be up and running I hope by next weekend, 03/12/2011. Maybe some of you would like to make a sked. Since I am only a Technician I only have small portions of the 15 40 and 80 meter bands. I am very excited about this new mode. Since I have small children I do not have a lot of time to play radio. I only have about an half an hour on the weekdays and maybe one to two hours on the weekends. Maybe someone would like to help a newbie to CW come a long.

My station consists of a Yaesu FT-950, Kenwood TM-V71A dual bander base, Jetstream JT220M 224 Mhz base, MJF-969 tuner, Kenwood TH-F6A tri-bander HT, Yaesu VX-6R tri-bander and a Diamond GZV-4000 power supply. My HF antenna is a W5GI Mystery Antenna up at 60 feet flat top. A Comet GP-9 vertical, Comet CX333 and a Comet 250B HF vertical. Not the best, but I really enjoy it and I get out pretty good. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read. 73, Stuart W8STU

Welcome back Stuart! I too am trying to get the code down but seem to lack the patience. I'm using "just learn morse" software. Hope that helps...
