Hello and welcome to my new page...

I live in Rose Hill Virginia and im medically retired so i spend some of my free time playing with ham gear and antennas to pass the time. Ham radio is a good hobby but it can get expensive and time consuming if you get to dxing very much.

Im going to upload some new photo's soon and maybe some items for sale/trade also.

thanks for looking k4tty/victor

The hobby is only as expensive as you want it to be. Don't read all the ads in the publications or get sick at heart when you read the equipment lineups of of many hams. There is a lot of decent gear out there for sale, used. They just don't have all of today's bells and whistles. I haven't bought a brand new piece of gear in years. I have bought some second and third hand equipment, though.

I remember back in the early '80's QSOing Russian hams who, at the time, didn't have a pot to **** in. Their home-brew or cheap-as-possible transmitters made it across Europe and into the East Coast of the U.S.A.
