At the very beginning I was avoiding this site. Then was just ignoring. Then I found it handy to see and read reviews. And now ... hey... I registered and even filled up my profile. Well, why not? Its another great US based site which have now many EU users also.

Regarding QSL cards - a month ago I sent up a nice parcel of over 120 cards to my Bureau. Hopefully all of you guys will get your part of QSO paperwork soon. As always most of my cards were from Germany. OK, many of my QSO's are DL land but observing a ratio of QSO to QSL it seem that German HAMs are most dedicated ones to the QSL service.

I bought a second hand Kenwood TM-D700E recently. It is missing all those fancy bells and whistles comparing to US version but still it is good to have an mobile rig again. Can't get an idea why EU version is missing wide band receiver (it may have it after "mods" but it is not my way anymore to have wide band rig now) and even more annoying is lack of SkyCommand system. Regulations perhaps? It is a pity cause my mobile now could serve me as my "external" antenna since my new QTH makes hard to put up any antenna at all. Well I think it is the time to act and change the regulations.

Welcome to the dark side Arthur... I felt the same way in the beginning. Who needs another site to try and keep up right? But what the heck... you get out what you put in, hopefully...
Any way, good to see you.
