I still haven't had my TenTec Omni A restrung, and I still don't have a great antenna waiting for it. In the meantime, I've been having more luck with SSB DX using 5 watts than I ever thought possible. I've reached several states, and a handful of DX entities.

I've added a few radios, too. I now have an ICOM IC-80 D-STAR dual band handheld, an old Yaesu FT212RH 2 meter mobile, an old Yaesu FT690RII 6-meter portable, and a RadioShack HTX-10 10-meter mobile (that last one cost me all of $5.00).

I'm doing OK in my Morse Code practice, but still haven't had a lot of time to try and do a CW QSO.

73,

-- Tom
