I moved QTH on 12th May, so the old station had to be packed up along with the Hustler 6BTV for HF anf the dual band Yagi for 2m/70cm.

Getting the house (and garden!) in order has taken almost all of my free time since then so I haven't got the new station really going yet. I din't think there's much chance of getting away with the vertical at the new QTH, I'll have to use a bit more "stealth".

I'm trying out two portable HF antennas at the moment, the I-Pro Traveller and the Superantenna's MP-1.

Got the Li ion battery packs for the FT-897 so I can operate /P.

Just across the road from the house is Riddlesdown - one of the areas of common land in Greater London, bought up by the Corporation of London to keep them free of building development in the 19th century. It looks a good bet for /P working not too far from home :0))
