DX CLUSTER! Good or Bad ?

From CT1BWW

Hi Everybody!
Nowadays many Operators don't want to spend time on the Bands listenning.
They just connecting the WEB-DXCluster looking what they
need, switch on the Amplifier , moving the antenna ... and that's it! Just Starting putting a signal on the air with the Callsign.
If he as lucky after a while he get the report ( the famous Five Nine ) and the next morning send the card with a SAE and a IRC. And ofcourse with a big smile of happiness on is face!
This is what we want ?
Certainly NOT! We prefer listening and listening , looking to the bands and answer a CQ Call or even better answer after our own CQCalling. I usually say" We're what we comunicate! " On QSO's we are always learning something NEW!
Of course the Cluster as good things, help us to see if the Bands are better on other parts on the Globe.
My opinion is whe MUST NEVER be controled by the DX Cluster and remember the old tradional Bands as also "Secrets" Not Only WARC Bands.
Disfrute Radio and Please Occupy the Frequencies!
73s DX's frm Marq/CT1BWW
