Greetings Fellow Hams!!

This is just a quick note to advise/inform you all as to my personal Mission Statement in the way of use of this site.

First off, I'm here but by the Grace of God in that I am able to live in a country that allows someone to read and study an FCC license study guide for the license (ticket) that affords me the privilege eventually issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate on the many Amateur Radio Service bands assigned by them. We must always remember this fact. They've given us this privilege!

Secondly, we should always strive to do everything we can to encourage a continued growth in our hobby of NEW amateur radio licensed operators. Don't get comfortable and just sit back with your license and not participate in any and all opportunities ham radio gives us to share it with our communities across this country and around the world. I try to share my experiences as often as I can. Some are those I regret later in sharing. Such as my ham family's [QRZ: N4VBS, K4TEP] involvement in area clubs over the past few years. It's a rather sad story! Let's just say that Power Plays by club officers were uncalled for and serve no purpose when whole family memberships are withdrawn as was the case just recently here in Walker County, Alabama. This hurts the Amateur Radio Service!!

Look for us using internet media means to do our part in spreading the word about the benefits of community involvement via amateur radio in the coming weeks and months here at stations: N4EMP, N4VBS, K4TEP-- collectively!
