WX: Well the rain is still finding a way to miss us here in Grand Bay, AL. We should see have a HOT day ahead 97F/36C, with the heat index climbing to 109F/43C. They are calling for afternoon showers here about a 30% chance so I sure hope we get one my greenish-brown grass could use a bit of rain.

I have the kids this weekend and we have fireworks and grilling on our minds. So we will be outside after the sun allows us to be out there safely and enjoying the sunset and night air. Going to cook a few burgers and dogs. Light a few small fireworks and enjoy a safe fourth of July, God willing.

The tower sections are gone off to get galvanized. I am now totally going through HF withdrawal, HI HI. No HF antenna up at the house means I am going to the contest station for the HF World Championships. K5DXG will be working a QRO two man station, this is a chance to get the club call DXCC rolling. We will be mainly CW but will work some SSB also at times during the contest. More information to come about the contest here and on K5DXG Blog.
