Well, it was another great field day for me and my daughter Chloe. She actually made some contacts this year and was asking about how to get her license!!!

All of her contacts were on 20 meters however we started out on 10 but the conditions from our location at the Carroll County EOC were less than favorable. I think we only made around 10 or so contacts on that band. So, to keep her interests peaked, we quickly switched over to the 20 meter phone station and she was making contacts left and right. I took her home around 5pm and took a nap so I could go back around 9pm to have some more fun!!!

When I finally left at around 0230 am this morning the club was somewhere around 400 contacts... I'm sure the number went up a bit higher since then. I'll have to find out what the finall tally is when field day is over.

Hope everyone had a great FD and i'm looking forward to it next year. I think I may try to use my own equipment and see what comes of it.. Who knows!?!?
