I've been doing a bit of work on 80m AM in the early morning and at night of late. There's a group of AM ops down in the area of 3.705 through 3.735 fairly often. Lots of fun and not nearly as congested as the old AM freqs around 3.885. C'mon down and give it a try!

Hi David! Thanks for the 'connection' request! Got a question... what time are you guys on AM? I have always wanted to work AM but never have. I run an Yaesu FT450 @ 100 watts. Don't know if that is enough for AM or not but would like to try.
Thanks...

Hi Steve! Since I retired I'm on most days from my workshop off and on all day, and often at night on 80 after about 7pm. I'll be glad to txt or email you when I'm on to hook up with ya.

Hi again, Steve. You'll also find a good bit of AM in the mornings (esp the weekends) around 3695, 3705, 3730, 3880, and 3885. Mid-morning through 3pm or so EST on 40m around 7290-7295 (sometimes on 7160). During the winter months, you'll find some AM on 160m on 1880, 1885, and some up around 1950.
