Although I do have some commercially made rigs like my DX60B or my 2 ARC5s or my TS830S Kenwood I much prefer operating homebrew rigs. I have worked t mating my homebrew 4 tube transceiver to my homebrew 811A linear. I have it working but haven't done much with it. Tis week I fire it up daily for a test on or about 7290khz.
I have had a few "contacts" but have yet to have a real GSO with it. It hasn't been my day but it will come. It has the power so I think it is just a matter for time. I would prefer to operate a station totally homebrew, nothing purchased or prebuilt. That is just me. I thrust that on no one else. So if you hear me faintly calling please reply.
