NEW OCEANSIDE QTH!

From WA2OOB

After a lengthy search, I found my new QTH in beautiful Oceanside, CA!

After 1 year, I am still in the process of getting my shack fully operational.

The good news is that this is a good radio location. I am using temporary mobile and wire antennas with good results, semi-stealth, as I prepare my verticals for permanent install- and will have to deal with the HOA for that.

I am up ~350' in Peacock Hills, with an unobstructed 180 degree southerly view, underground utilities, a low noise floor, and am able to work DX with hamsticks sitting on my metal shed... a good sign!

73,

John WA2OOB
