After starting my blog and account here I went to qrz.com. I checked my logbook etc. and decided to make sure I was using the right grid letters for my location. I made a startling discovery. My grid I have been using and the correct one is EN81GQ. However I started experimenting with the map changing the last letter. I entered EN81GR and found out the borders of EN81GQ and EN81GR run right down the property line behind my house running East and West give or take a little bit for error. I zereoed in with the satellite view in facination of my new discovery. The property is not hard to identify as I have a very tall pine on the property line where the border is I use for my G5RV.

I have the same situation. In fact, my Off Center Fed Dipole starts in one grid, and ends in the other. I guess I can give double credits on contest days.
