Several local operators where kind enough to help me ring out the kinks in the setup. I managed to make SSB phone contacts with them both. We were joined by another operator out of SC. Managed a contact with a decent signal report between middle TN and SC on QRP rig!

I started out on QRP - 40M CW and later 10M SSB - Back in the Day. The first few contacts are the hardest. Once you get rolling is gets much easier. It is lots of fun. Only good tip is to get the best antenna setup you can - It helps a lot. You won't always break the pile up, but you'll be suprised what your Litle Ten Tec can do. Good Luck - 73's - Bill
