Well this Saturday didn't go soo well for ham radio. I was up 1300 feet. There were several challenges bringing the antenna to resonance with a radial system. Removing the radials fixed that?!?!?About 13 stations heard me with my 20 Watts but I only made 2 contacts. They would ask for the 9Z station and ask me to repeat and someone would talk over me. (Those big gun contesters are getting out of hand!)I won't condemn the antenna just just. Many times in the past I've done that and it was something wrong I did. I'll try some different configurations for the antenna and see. Stay tuned.
