Slow Winter for radio

4/1/2012 5:08:10 AM (0 comments) Add a commentAdd Comment

During this winter I experienced some noise in the shack which caused me to slow down on the radio quite a bit. The reason for the noise was never found by me so i limited my time in the shack to a cpl hours a week. I told myself that come spring i would return to the attic shack for at least 1 hr daily, I have tried to keep to that(usually around 5am before i head off to work)the noise isnt bad when its nice out so that leads me to believe the noise is from some heating device. I have plans this summer to finally mount the 220/440 and other various antennas on the roof. Hope everyone has a good spring and hope to hear you on the air. 73 KC9KXT Jesse
