Other Callsigns
Previously, KG4JVI.
I have since upgraded and hold WZ4KIM which is a vanity callsign. Many have wondered and asked about my Callsign and the origin.

The suffix is my XYL's name.... that's the closest to Ham Radio that she will "participate" in! HI!

My Ham Radio Interests
I am a Medical Professional and work with those that suffer from End Stage Renal Disease and Kidney Failure that require Hemodialysis in order to sustain life. Hemodialysis is a form of life support for individuals that suffer from Kidney Failure usually due to Diabetes or High Blood Pressure (untreated) and many other disorders that disrupt or destroy normal Kidney function.

My interest in Amateur radio is vast.. I enjoy using all modes from CW to SSB to FM and the digital modes. DXing was the basis of my entering the hobby as many Hams but I also enjoy tinkering with antenna construction and some circuit construction projects. I have a special interest in Vintage Amateur Radio gear and have many great pieces that i enjoy operating!

I can be found on HF..... 10-20-40 meters either in the CW portions of the bands and the digital portions and of course, SSB phone. I also enjoy weak signal work on 2 meters and 6 meters as well as 70 cm, phone and CW, but I can also be found on 145.290 Mhz FM ("The Big Stick" Repeater System) here in West Central Florida. I also monitor 444.475 FM (St. Petersburg Amateur Radio Club or SPARC) 70 cm Repeater, as well.

I also enjoy SSTV.

Hope to hear you on the air soon!

I met with the Flotilla's Personnel Officer last night and was very impressed with the organizational structure of this Flotilla and the obvious dedication of the members to not only the organiz ...
