Welcome new ham

A friend Ben Branch (12 years old) received his license this weekend. We are proud of Ben and know there is lots of fun ahead in the hobby.

I worked the North American QSO Party and got sevveral new states on several bands.

200+ dxcc countries confirmed in LOTW.

Weekly update

It has been a good week on 6 meters, worked several new grids.

Researching equipment needed to allow more compter control of my station from my bed operating position.

Found a fellow ham who has a computer control board which costs 400.00 and will allo computer control of my NCS Multiswitcher and amplifier.
If you can help by donating toward the purchase of this equipment.

N8LP builds the control board and several other pieces of equipment.

Starting out 2009

After 14 days working on the new Logbook of the World Tiple Play Award I am 2/3 complete. Lots of fun, using the contests' , North American Traffic and Awards Net 3.905 at 0400z and a LOTW USERS on 3.618 at 0130z.

I can have a Schedule to work you for a LOTW or county contact for Turner County Georgia. My personal page is http://www.wayneharrell.com .

Been busy with weekend contest after completing Triple Play Award #27.

I spend my weekdays helping others needing Ga for their Triple Play or jus filling Ga on ther bands.
Most of my operating is done from bed with computer control wi5h trackball and on screeen keyboard.

I am in the Century Club many nights on 3902.

Gosh where is the year gone? I have had fun operating the 6 meter openings in recent weeks. The 4 ele Steppir does reall well on all band, however it is not doing well on 6 meter recieve.

I am spending more time at my bed operating position each day. What a great hobby that allows me to communicate from my be making friends.

If you read my blog I would like to hear from you and work you.

I am trying to collect Amateur Radio License Plates if you have one laying around.

Have a great week, make lots of contacts.
