My Ham Radio Interests
I have been in shortwave since 1993 and I was a CBer from 1997 until 2008 when I finally got licensed. I am a DXer but I am shifting my interests more twords the VHF UHF modes such as SSB and Satellite and Packet. I am also interested in furthering the use of the 220MHz and 900MHz bands because we have had a history of not using what was allocated to us and losing part of the bands (such as 220-222 MHz). I am also interested in learning CW. I have about 103 countries worked and I am in the process of confirming them all so I guess basically I am unconfirmed DXCC. I am working on VUCC with the AO-51. If you would like to confirm Mississippi or EM50 or Harrison County or whatever I can do to enhance your fun with ham radio please don't hesitate to e-mail me and I will gladly set up a schedule and my e-mail address is n5vag@hotmail.com.

220 MHz

I am looking for people in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area to get interested in 1.25M (220 band). If anybody is interested please contact me at 228-860-2150 or n5vag@hotmail.com. This is a very exciting band with very unique features such as the best of both worlds. It has the distance of 2 Meters with the penetration of 440.
