My Ham Radio Interests
Passed my test the next step is General.
I have wanted to try for my License now for about twenty five years but could not get the Code so when i found that the code was droped i went for it..

Equipment
I now have a i-COM IC-706MKIIG with a Radio shack power supply and a MFJ Versa Tuner II to start.
I am useing the I-COM for base and mobile , I have a long wire about 65 or 70 Ft. long and about twenty five feet above ground. I also have a hy-gain Model AV-18vs 10-80 Meter Vertical Antenna, and a Home made two meter antenna that works fine.
UPDATE I am now the owener of a Kenwood TS-940S with a desk mike and SP-940 Speaker and I am in the prosses of installing a RS232 interface so as to opperate the radio from my computer..

Other Interests
Wood working , I have a work shop in my shed and in the Winter I work out their as Summer is to Hot for me HA HA..
I make small Lamps ,Stands, Cabnets and other Items and sell them on the side..

I am 71 years old and still working. I work as a Securty Guard for Wackenhut.
