My Ham Radio Interests
I have always enjoyed the "mystery" and "magic" of radio since I was a little boy!
I started out as an avid shortwave listener and, over the years, I have collected many unique QSL cards from countries and broadcasters far and wide.
I became interested in earning my ham license after meeting and talking to a fellow worker who was a licensed "Extra Class" operator.
I earned my technician license in 2002 and just recently upgraded to my general license!
Currently I am active on phone SSB on twenty meters.
I am learning CW (at a snail's pace BUT I AM learning!)
Hope to work you on twenty meters one of these days!!
