My Ham Radio Interests
Hello fellow hams! I have been a licensed ham since 1985, when I was 13 years old. Currently, I am studying for my Extra class license. My HF antennas are: Hertzian 10 meter and 40 meter dipoles, a no-trap 80 meter NVIS dipole (20 meter dipole attached at apex), and a Marconi multi-band 20, 15 and 10 meter no-trap vertical. My special operating and study interests are in AM DXing, HF propagation, NVIS antennas, and CW.

Barker & Williamson VS300A antenna tuner
Wm M. Nye Company Speed-X oval telegraph key
Kenwood R-2000 all-mode communications receiver (SWL antenna 180' long wire)

Too numerous to mention all, but I have multiple radios each of Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu, Vertex, Motorola, Ritron, and Midland LMR with Yaesu as my favorite for Ham radio use and Kenwood LMR as my primary for LMR communications.
