My Ham Radio Interests
Greetings, and thanks for looking me up.
I've had a fascination for communications equipment since my early teenage years, when a neighbor introduced me to the wonders of radio.

Equipment
My equipment currently consists of a Yaesu FT-9000MP, a Kenwood TS-990S, an Icom IC-7800, an Icom IC-R9500, an Icom IC-9100, an Icom IC-910H, a TenTec RX-340, and a Kenwood TS-2000LE. My keys are various Begali models.

Other Interests
I am a retired fire officer from the San Francisco Bay Area, and my main interest is monitoring emergency communications. I spend much more time doing this than enjoying other modes of this unique past time.

I've met many wonderful friends on the air, and I find that there is always something new to learn and enjoy. I guess that's what makes this such a wonderful way to spend my spare time!

Hope to catch you on the air-

73, Jim K6JPA
