My Ham Radio Interests
Would like to welcome those of you have ventured into the 'Biography of W4ZG'...it goes something like this...was first licensed as a Novice in 1957 when I was 16yrs old...KN8EAA...spent 8yrs in the USAF...mostly in Texas and Arizona which also included a year as TF2WJO in Iceland...when discharged from the AF, in 1967; I spent the next 29 yrs with Xerox...in Dallas,Tx and Tampa,Fl...retired from big 'X' in 2001...now living in Clearwater,Fl...have enjoyed several pieces of gear over the years and now have settled on some of my favorites...75A4/KWS-1...HRO-60/Viking Ranger/Johnson Desk Kilowatt...NC-300/Viking Valiant... the main HF rig is the Yaesu FT-1000D/Alpha 91b into a Mosley TA-33 beam at 40'...BTW...was also licensed as W5QLF and W4QLF before being assigned W4ZG in 2000...that's about it from this end...if we haven't met on the air before...hope to do so in the future! 73/Dennis W4ZG
