My Ham Radio Interests
Currently use 2-meter, 440, 10-meter, and DMR at the moment. I also listen to public service radio. I have compiled many freqs from my local area to listen to.
--------------------
I became a Ham Radio Operator in 1976 as a Novice; WN6HIH & WA6HIH. At that time you either upgraded or expired after 2 yrs. I let my license expire, and 11 years later I studied and passed the Novice class again on 04/01/87, and became KB6SQZ. I Became Technician Class on 5/09/87, and became General Class on 07/11/87, and became Advanced Class on 09/12/87, all as N6PVD. I Became Extra Class on 11/14/87 as AA6FZ. WHEW! What a year that was!

I currently check into the Grub Grabber's Net via 145.28 on my days off from work and into some of the local ECS radio nets, DMR nets, and the VVARC Net. I was involved with the Victorville City Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service group for several years.

Other Interests
I am a Native Californian. I was born in San Bernardino Ca. and grew up in Hesperia Ca. I took piano lessons, and played drums in the school band in Hesperia Ca. and Apple Valley Ca. I studied electronics in high school and at Victor Valley College, and took a Cinematography class and landscaping classes.

In the 1970's I worked as a gardener during high school for local area residences, and then worked as manager of Cornet stores Hesperia and Monterey Park, and was a bartender for the Elks lodge and at Drapers night club. I started working at Lockheed in Ontario Ca. in 1980. Still working for them but now but in Palmdale Ca. I guess now I am waiting to retire eventually. I also have a booth P&S Novelties at the outdoor open air market / swap meet at the Victorville Ca. fairgrounds on the weekends since June of 1999.

July 2005 I took Ballroom and Latin dance lessons from Dance Time Studios in Victorville Ca. and have been involved in the theater here in the area locally.

I love ASL (American Sign Language)and Braille as another form of communications along with the enjoyment of CW and Voice lol.

Between my activities and working 7days a week, not much time to hobby play, but I am having a blast with it all and enjoying life!

Well that is some of my life story here... Thanks for checking it out here.

Clubs
I attend the VVARC (Victor Valley Amateur Radio Club in Apple Valley, I've participated with the R.A.C.E.S. program in Victorville Ca. with the fire dept. police dept. and city functions back in the 80's, 90's
